Poodle
Health problems common among poodles will depend on the variety. For all types of poodles, including standard, miniature, and toy, hip dysplasia is a serious concern. This happens when the dog’s hip joint deteriorates or weakens and it’s believed to be genetic. Symptoms can begin as young as 5 months old. Some types of poodles are also prone to epilepsy which causes seizures.
Bulldogs
Bulldogs have a distinctive flat face and short snout. Like pugs and Boxers, they are prone to a condition known as brachiocephalic syndrome due to the thicker, narrower nasal passages. Because this breed can have trouble breathing (that’s why he snores!), it can be treated at an animal hospital in Chicago.
